Electric bill going up almost $100

Hey guys! We were given a crested gecko that needed a new home last month. His enclosure was already setup but we made some tweaks based on the info I read online. His enclosure is bioactive and has a fog machine. We just got our power bill and where it is normally around $170, it came in at $255. I’ve had reptiles my whole life and have never seen this drastic of a difference. Is this normal? Is it because of the fog machine or like what could be happening here?
