What is wrong with this guys eye?

Found this little dude in our bathroom in the accommodation three days ago, he’s been with us since then, he just roams around the bathroom, we find him in a different spot each time we go in - I’ve grown quite attached to him. On the second day we noticed his eye, awfully larger and cloudy compared to his other - what could this be? Is he in pain?
