Admittedly I haven't watched it yet, because Nosferatu doesn't come out here until 2025, but all the discussion I've seen so far just makes me think of that one post from a few days back claiming that the vast majority of """acting""" is a fake ass job given the sheer amount of nepo babies, models, influencers, second-rate internet comedians, and racist right wing podcast grifters who turn out be surprisingly good at it.

Or another case in point, Chris Pratt. Ex-Disney Child Stars. The literal twenty years it took attempting to make Ryan Reynolds into a thing. Infamously bad Keanu Reaves. Some haters will honestly go as far as to say DiCaprio. Ivy-fucking-Wolk!?

Obviously there are the GOATs like Daniel Day Lewis, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Anthony Hopkins etc. on one end, and people who are very very obviously unsuited on the other, but amidst the general 'performer' crowd for how many of these big shot Hollywood roles could you honestly just pick any half-decent drama/theatre grads from any half-decent college and have them do an equally surprisingly good job of it?
