Habitat for Humanity ReStore prices???

Has anyone else noticed that the prices at the ReStores around here (or maybe specifically the Capital Blvd one) seem insane? I went to look for a cabinet box hoping to find a used or remaindered one, expecting to pay maybe $50 for an old one or $100 for a newer one. They had plenty, but mostly old ones missing drawers, doors, etc, and would need a decent amount of work to make them functional. Lowest price I saw was $180. Mind you, the same size cabinet new from Home Depot (with drawers and doors included) is around $150.

Walking around the store showed a similar level of delusion/audacity with pricing their other stuff.

I know thrift stores in general have been raising prices astronomically since the pandemic, but it’s very frustrating that the only logical option now is to buy everything new. It feels so wasteful and unsustainable. I would have really preferred to salvage some already existing material and put it to good use and save some money in the process but that doesn’t make sense now.

Mostly a general rant, but if anyone knows of any other type of place that resells home improvement type goods in the area, let me know.
