Why the difference in the price!?

I can't understand why we do have things very expensive here compared to other countries in Gulf! I was looking to buy a laptop and found it in KSA for 5,899 SR. I would accept if the difference were around 100-200 QR. Imagine, in Qatar they are selling the same for 7,999 QR! WHY !!
