Disability Is Forced Poverty?

How does someone like me "get ahead?"

I have had 2 strokes; I have seizures; I'm in a wheelchair / bed half the time .

I can do some "ADL's; but have a caregiver here most of the time.

I DO very much !! Appreciate the small money I do receive and all the food and my landlord is super chill even tells me pay whatever day you want when I'm in the hospital etc ... but I live in a bad part of town ; shooting next door yesterday cops everywhere.. and I still owe bills for vet , etc... I'm not allowed to have savings or drive or work ... I've tried some freelancing but with my doctors and hospital visits and cogniti problems it's very hard to keep up !
