Can’t decide

I currently drive a 2007 Mazda cx9. I like it but it only tows 2000lbs and I’m hoping to get a pop up camper soon. Im looking to get rid of my Mazda and get something that tows a little more. We’re currently looking at a 2008 Acura mdx with 130k miles for $7500. It’s awd and has a towing capacity of 5000lbs. We also checked out a 2012 Honda odyssey with 215k miles for the Same price. I really like everything about the odyssey, but idk if it really tows enough and we would also have to install a hitch. Just thought I would get some opinions on which one would be a better car. We just started our family but we do plan on having more kids eventually. We also have 2 30lb poodles that we will take with us when traveling. I like that the odyssey is supposed to get a little better gas mileage and I’m thinking it would be cheaper to maintain. Thoughts?
