Is this a trivial fold?
Villain is a solid player. Not a pro, but a thinking player. His first hand he lost AA vs KK when kings flopped a set. I don't know if he's tilted, but we were were chatting and it's obvious that hand is still wearing on him.
Blinds: 2/5/10 (Straddle: $10) Hero: UTG (J♥️ 7♥️) Villain(s): UTG+1 Effective Stack: $1,200
Preflop ($17): UTG+1 raises $35, Hero calls
Flop ($77): J♠️ 7♠️ A♣️ Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $20, Hero raises $80, UTG+1 calls
Turn ($237): J♠️ 7♠️ A♣️ 3♣️ Hero bets $160, UTG+1 calls
River ($557): J♠️ 7♠️ A♣️ 3♣️ K♠️ Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $350
Total pot: $907
I hated this river as the draws all complete and AK makes a better two pair. Villain offers to show 1 card, the Ad. Obviously a super strong play, but it also makes it harder to fold since his value range is narrower. Would he really just flat AA, JJ, AJ on the turn?
