i’m a new plant parent

just got this plant about a month ago seems to be doing decent but i’ve been seeing a few things pop up. i believe it’s a variegated pothos, it sits in my living room with 3 north facing windows as its light resource. how often do i water, and what do these little brown hole/spots mean? if you have anything els i should know about this plant let me know!!!
