Laging bukas ang pinto

Hey guys, I just realized something and I wanna hear your thoughts on it. At home, we usually don’t lock our main door so our dogs can go outside whenever they need to pee or poop. We always make sure the gates are locked, so it still feels secure. But now I’m wondering—does this go against any pamahiin? Like, am I unintentionally inviting certain entities inside the house? I don’t want to mess with that kind of energy. Lalo na bagong lipat kami dito. I’m actually thinking of putting an evil eye amulet or a 5 Emperor Coin charm on both sides of the door for protection. What do you think? Would that help?
