tips on places to find persian cats?

so i recently looked into buying a persian, (i have researched of course and im a previous cat owner and have dealt with animals with special needs as well,) but anyways moving on from that, im just curious on where to find persian's to begin with? i looked on pet finder and found a adorable one but i feel as if its not legit.. based off the reviews of this place they don't reply back to applications to much and their website is mostly "coming soon", the persian is adorable don't get me wrong im just a little scared they aren't legit, and they don't have a set adoption fee either which i found a little odd as well. im just curious on where i can find legit persian cats and so i don't get scammed.

EDIT: anyone know if catdogfriendrescue is legit?
