Early peri after covid?

I (34F) thought to ask here if someone else might be experiencing the same. Doctors haven't had answers (and not a whole lot of interest either) in what's going in with me regarding any of my symptoms, so I thought to ask for similar experiences. So, did anyone else notice symotoms resembling perimenopause after a covid infection?

I had covid presumably(?) for the first time last December, and my body is completely altered since. I've been assuming it's long covid (and gotten half-assed confirmations from two doctors too, but it's not really officially diagnosed in my country). I know that covid can affect your menstrual cycle, but it's been a year already. I get a week of spotting before a few days of heavier period. My cycle is irregular for the first time ever and much lighter than I'm used to. I have constant migraines and occasional hot flashes at night. I've been also having phantom smells, which I was shocked to find out (just today) are also part of perimenopause.

For other related info, I did also have a fibroid discovered this year, which could explain the spotting, but AFAIK, fibroids usually cause a heavier period, not a lighter one, which has been puzzling me. The fibroid was discovered when I went to the gynecologist for these irregular period symptoms, and nothing else out of the ordinary was found. I've had non-gynecologist related blood tests as well, and nothing was found aside from a light vitamin D deficiency. I also have muscle pains and weakness, and digestive issues, which originally made me just think of long covid instead of peri. Now I'm wondering if this could be a testosterone issue. But tests like that are behind a whole lot of work and usually out of your own pocket, so that will be some effort until I get to that.

I would appreciate any input, if anyone has had similar experiences. Most covid/long covid spaces are a bit (cis)male dominated so I don't feel comfortable posting about this in those spaces.
