What is the best pellet smoker? (Sorry)

I’m sorry to ask this as I’m sure it’s asked often. Between this subreddit, Amazon, review sites, etc I am stuck in analysis paralysis.

No matter which brand or model you look at, it’s either the best thing ever or you should avoid it at all costs.

What I’m looking for is a pellet smoker… obviously. I want it to be a true smoker that gives a very rich smoky flavor to the meat. I do not need it to grill or do anything besides smoke. It would be my first smoker but I also don’t want something super basic just because of that.

I have plenty of room so size doesn’t matter but big enough for like a couple racks of ribs, etc.

I feel like the big names like traeger and pit boss are actually kinda meh. Z Grill, Green Mountain, Grilla Grills are a couple that have caught my eye.

Don’t really have a budget but I guess I probably want to stay below $1200 unless there’s a strong case for something beyond that.
