Why people avoid Microsoft edge like a plague?`

So I have been using Microsoft Edge for 6 month, after switching from chrome, I'd say the experience is good so farm, These are my conclusion as follow :

• Microsoft Edge is just Microsoft implementation of the same browser that chrome use, that already installed on your system.
• it has more feature and somehow have a less memory usage than chrome? not that much
• Any extension for chrome work well vice versa.
• you can change default search engine.
• it has System level integration for passkey thing

Since it functionally identical, why everyone seems avoiding this browser like a plague? am I missing something? why everyone seems willing to Download another version of the same thing from different company. that actually not much behave differently than Microsoft?
