Pac-Man frog question

My Pac-Man frog hasn’t taken any food in a long time and has been buried for a couple weeks. I had to dig him out to make sure it’s still alive and tried offering food.. it just ignored it and went back under

My question is

should I take him out of his enclosure and put him in a small container with wet towels and a water dish so I can make sure he eats until it grows a bit bigger ?
