DEXA scan at Merivale Medical Imaging

I see some old posts in the sub about Merivale Medical Imaging’s body comp DEXA scan.

Has anyone here tried one in the last 5 years?

Last night I emailed them and they said it is $175, and you get a report with measurements of lean muscle, bone density, and fat.

I have a couple of scales that use electrical impedance so I am curious to see how accurate they are. One of them also supports calibrating if you have a precise baseline from a DEXA scan. Supposedly, they are about as accurate as you can get.

Will probably book an appointment either way, but I’m curious if anyone can share what to expect!
