Wife of a financial professional - help!
I am the wife of a financial guy (wall street MD). He has helped manage my IRA and 401(K) accounts, but I have a personal trading account I manage and have been happy with the returns - I buy individual equities and speculate on trends in tech I'm interested in. I have basic option (level 2) approval on the account so I can't get into too much trouble, and he has been encouraging me to buy calls. He has tried to explain the basics (what is a covered call, put, and etc) but I would like to learn it myself and keep our happy marriage. I would love some recommendations on books explaining the basics - I don't want a 'get rich by trading options' type of thing, just to understand options trading fundamentals, strategies for using options to hedge risk, understanding how to read the options charts when I look at the various strke prices/time. Any recommendations would be appreciated. HNY!
