Two meals a day seems like a hack

Thinking about trying two meals a day to control my calories and lean out the mid section just a bit. Figure I'll cut off breakfast but distribute the protein to lunch and dinner. I'm never really that hungry for the first part of the day anyway so I can use that time to get most of my fluids in. Plus some caffeine during that time will feel like it's injected directly into my veins with no food in my system. Then when I do eat, I can go ham on it (pun intended). Anyone tried this approach yet, if so what were the results?
