Accused of narc diversion

Last week I was called into a meeting with my manager, AOD, head of pharm, and a few others. They said I had a much higher narcotics pulled rate from Pyxis than any other nurse in the past 30 days. Also, a few instances where I held meds too long and didn’t waste. I of course offered to be searched and submitted to a UDS.

Here lies my dilemma. I tested negative for everything but butalbital. I took a Fioricet the night before for a migraine. It wasn’t my rx though. I have a rx for Imatrex but it makes me feel awful. My friend had given me a Fioricet a while back so I decided to try it.

The accusations are opioid medications, not barbiturates. I’m terrified. I was honest with my manager. She has no idea what’s going to happen.

I never diverted meds! But with a pos UDS, I don’t know what to expect. Does anyone have any similar experience?
