Honestly a bit of a shame, Marilyn Manson.

I'm not sure why I, but I feel the need to talk about it with other people, I guess.

It's a bit depressing everything I've heard about him. Several accusations of sexual assault, complete dick 24/7 in his prime (in terms of music), completely falling off after The Golden Age of Grotesque, and just an all around poor human being. Never treated anyone around him very well either during that time.

It just sucks you know? Portrait of an American Family, Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holy Wood are all pretty damn amazing albums!

Hearing what he said towards James Iha (of Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle) was just fucking sad. Love James and his songwriting / guitar work a lot. Never thought it would get lower than rock bottom. Maybe I'm stupid, but I always got very anti-racism/anti-rape, etc, from Mansons' early albums. He seemed very promotive of being accepting of others. I could be talking out of my ass though.

Sure! Trent has had his downs, mostly like a thousand years ago. I think he has redeemed himself beautifully. Sure, he's got quite the confidence, but he has roughly 33 years of success to back it up.

I decided to post this here because I felt like I may possibly be hung and publicly executed if I said this in Mansons subreddit.

Tldr: manson was and is coming off as a complete ass, and it sucks as I am a fan of his first few releases in music.
