What to wish for

Hi all,

So I'm in a bit of a strange situation. I'm a neutral Barbarian who just got the castle wand. I've been tending towards speed runs both because I'm back after a long time off and very impatient, and because you tend to see more of the game in some way when you dont just hang around an altar till you have the perfect kit, the same every time. Sokoban bores me to death so I never do it and I rushed through the last 8-10 levels of the dungeon without looking for loot, so as things stand, I have almost none of my kit, only: Cleaver; a cloak of protection; an amulet of life saving; a bag I just found, not yet ID'd; and a couple of magic markers, half-burned on ID scrolls.

I've identified charging and enchant armour but not weapon, no genocide or taming. My levitation source is rings of polymorph and polymorph control. AC -10 with a few points of protection. 5 of that AC comes from +4 elven boots.

The wishes I would normally tend to go for are kind of negated by the situation. Speed/jumping boots will only lower my AC. Figurines of archons wont work because of Cleaver. Magic markers alone dont do much good when I have no kit to enchant and I dont even know enchant weapon.

Right now the number one priority is of course either/both MR and reflection. Am I right in saying that with the new changes the cloak of protection is as high a priority or even higher than reflection? Or should I go with SDSM and cloak of MR? I'm thinking the only way I can have all three is if I swap an amulet of reflection for my life saving, but Im not sure I trust myself fully, I would almost prefer to just do without reflection. I love what the Dev Team has done by making you choose here.

Should I blow a wish on enchant weapon, just for convenience's sake? I should probably immediately go back for the quest after the castle for a better levitation source, right? The Orb of Fate is an idea suggested by the Wiki, but I've had I think four artifacts already generated, not intentionally for the most part. Conflict might complement Cleaver nicely? Gauntlets of power would be useful, but of the highest priority I don't know.

Any ideas about how to use the wand/how to proceed in general would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I forgot! The Medusa level titan actually dusted my cloak of protection, so I guess that's no longer tying me down.... Ah it's beautiful the situations you get into by rushing.
