Confused using essenza mini

I have a few boxes of OL that say this on the box and when i brew it on my essenza mini i press the smaller button because i want a shot of espresso and the ristretto size pours for ones that state ristretto.

How do i get these kinds to brew the espresso size? Do i press the right button(the bigger size), the lungo button? I thought that literally only makes lungos and dilutes your pods if it’s not lungo? I’m so confused !!
