Thoughts on this ancient Greek name?
I came across the name Timoleon, which dates back to a Greek statesman born in 411 BC. It seems largely unheard of outside of Greece (with only a couple exceptions). Meaning is "to honor" + "lion."
As someone who likes both Timothy and Leo variations, this name is intriguing. I'm guessing it would come across as a made-up mashing together of those names today. But curious if anyone else has thoughts.
