Who's a mainstream pop artists that most music needs hate that you love?

For me it's Coldplay. They often get thrown in with the likes of Imagin Dragons or One Republic as basic pop rock. But they've always been so much more to me and in my opinion are among the best britpop bands of all time and have some all time great records. Just bc something is easily palatable doesn't make it bad. And that's Coldplay for me.
