Review of a Shock Stick
Before I really start this review off, some words of warning: I am quite experienced in kink. I enjoy trying things out, but I always aim to do so safely. I always had someone nearby me and I was fully sane, sober, not horny and freaking relaxed. I never tried electro sex before, but I know quite a lot of different sensations and kinds of pain. So take me word with caution if you really are somewhat fresh with the topic of kinks, pain and alike. Also I strongly encourage each and every Dom to try stuff on themselves before using them on their Sub. At least that is what my boyfriend and I tend to do, even if I usually end up trying it on my own with him nearby. You know, it's fun doing shit like shocking yourself.
So here I am, holding something my own post inspired me to get. Since "The Sting" by Dc Johnsson is hard to come by I got myself the "Prick Shock Stick" by Taboom, which I got on Amazon.
First thing I noticed was the missing weird cheao china stuff smell I always feel sextoys have a little top often. A quite pleasent suprise. From what I feel it seems to be quite sturdy and somewhat fun even without the shock when you slap it into your hand. It's quite elegant in its simplicity. A nice black grip with a good texture to hold, a stable enough plastic rod leading to the two electrode-loops at its end. Some rubber hiding the charging port, which is via USB. A single button to start the fun.
First things first: There is a BIG difference in how you use it. Push the electrodes into your hand, push the button and it zaps you. No big spark, no loud sound, just the pain of electricity. Quite comparable to what one of those old spark-ignoted lighters feel like when you used them on yourself as a kid, just a lot stronger. Run it over your skin while puhsing the button and you get the sensation again and again.
But well, oh well... Push the button BEFORE you touch your skin and it's an entirely different story. If you guys remember the girls reaction in my post, just know this: Most of it comes from the sound and flash. You dont know when it comes as you move the rod closer to your skin. You cannot prepare until it hits you all at once. It is a LOT of fun and I twitched each and every time. Also, the psychological effect cannot be underestimated. I think it does not hurt that bad, but the combination makes the effect all the more fun.
I payed about 30€ for it, which I found a lot cheaper than I expected. Also, I only tested it in a non-kink-environment and on my own, so I cannot really tell you about the bedroom fun and excitement it provides.
As always and especially when it comes to kinky new toys:
Misbehave Responsibly!

P.S.: Dont expect me to re-enact the video.
