"Good route" would be impossible

This is just my discussion of what if scenarios. Specifics of how things would play out are unclear and I am only interpreting available information, plus theorising.

By "Good route", I mean a route where everyone stays alive and they either get better or remain the same.

Some of issues could be potentially prevented such as Kotoko beating guilty prisoners by voting her guilty.

However, it would be impossible to achieve "good route" that due to Milgram conditions such as Trial 1 punishment being rejection of thoughts. It could possible that Kotoko would attack other prisoners, but without the idea of serving Milgram/ES. Plus, some votings being a case of choosing between two evils.

Muu and Amane are both good of examples of that.

Muu became confident and she bestfriended Haruka. Now let's imagine what would happen if she was declared guilty. Muu was potrayed on the verge of mental breakdown after commiting her crime and being bullied as a retribution. Picking guilty would be alienating her from others, which especially sucks due to Milgram being an unknown and harsh environment. Thus, Muu could become desperate or even self-destructive like Haruka.

Also, Haruka would still be able to interact with her. Shidou was able to help Mahiru despite her being voted guilty. However, it's hard to say if they would ended up in the same arrangement (Haruka using his own life to protect Muu). Mahiru was happy and caring towards all prisoners. There could be a possibility of him becoming attached to Mahiru, but only if she was voted innocent and retained her early attitude.

Either way, Muu would go into one extreme.

Then there is Amane who has strong black and white way of thinking, which needs to be treated with the nuance. Unfortunately, Milgram follows black and white thinking as it puts prisoners into a box of either innocent or guilty. Voting Amane innocent in Trial 1 would result in her following Kotoko's footsteps; thinking that Milgram approves her actions and follows her morals.

Just look at those translated lines from her first voice drama

"Ah, I am looking forward to it! Seeing whether your judgement will align with that of these higher standards! If that's the case, maybe Milgram would be the right world for us to live in, rather than the outside world!

Milgram relies on your judgement, isn't that right? In that case, you could become the mediator for a far more righteous world!!!"

This just stinks of potential idolisation of Es and misinterpreting their decisions. While she wouldn't beat up others like Kotoko, there would be potential frictions and she would definitely continue preaching about her beliefs... Do I have to mention that 1-3 prisoners would be fairly vulnerable to her preachings? Haruka could gravitate towards her due to her confidence and the idea of being treated as a good boy by someone. Guilty!Muu would be a big unknown, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Fuuta's psyche already had few cracks as depicted by the end of his first video.

Depending on specifics, we could end up with a mini cult built by Amane and extremely depressed Muu. Instead of the follower Fuuta and Haruka risking his life for Muu, we could have Haruka dedicating himself to Amane and her cult ideas. Re-creating the situation in trial 2, but with just Amane and having way bigger mess. Innocent? Cult of Amane continues to grow and may become more radical. Guilty? Dead Haruka and Amane lashing out or becoming depressed due to being "betrayed".
