Stop taking credit away from people who do nice things and giving it to their parents.

I find it infuriating when someone is documented doing something kind or charitable and people comment saying something to the effect of “His mother raised him right!”

Some people have horrible, unsupportive, unkind parents, and turn out to be great people anyway. People have a basic nature that they’re born with that can often endure and overcome bad parenting. And the opposite is also true, because what’s in our nature can transcend parental influence. People are individuals. When someone does something decent, give them the credit. They deserve it, regardless of how they were raised.
