Happy janfest to all- from stanford
Janfest is here! And the celebration festivities have commenced. Our first ever janfest may be a snowy one, but it is a good one!
For those who have yet to learn the history of janfest- janfest was created after we realized that as the years go by, more and more dead people/ relatives get forgotten, many are forgotten entirely. We at Stanford didn't think it was fair that many men, women, children, even soldiers that fought for their country, are maybe remembered once a year, if at all. That's why Stanford created janfest, to remember all who are dead. We sing war hyms and songs of remembrance. You also can't forget the janfest baked potato, with all your favorite toppings.
We wish you a merry janfest, and hope you can celebrate in your micronation too!
Warm regards- Stanford.
