Brown and black… yes or no?

I’ve seen a lot of people on here strongly advising against black shoes with brown pants or black pants with brown shoes… apparently thats a rule or something… I’m here to say i love mixing brown and black if its done intentionally. Some of my favorite looks involve mixing them. Hell, i would even say black/navy blue can be pulled off if you do it right. Was just wondering how many of you are freaks like me lol?
