So, after talking to Cozette alongside Connie as Connie stays behind to take care of her mentor, the Bros. go to fight Reclusa, but they end up in the "Mushroom Kingdom" instead! Everyone was happy, Mario and Luigi, including Snoutlet, were confused, as they went into the castle, they meet at the same spot again! Like this is a loop, as Peach and the Toads throw fun minigames, something was off... Even Bowser and his minions were coexisting peacefully with the Mushroom Kingdom, something that sounds like a wish that can never come true. Until the Bros. hit a flipped ? Block, revealing Reclusa! Then he flees, and then we're met with the Bros... Stuck in the flower buds that put people in fake and happy realities! (Do they have names by the way?) Reclusa can't be seen though, thanks to the new characters appearing, including a Lakitu holding a camera, recording. (I love that Super Mario 64 throwback also!) This allows the Bros. to see the things that can't be seen by their own eyes, so they keep finding Reclusa until he gets upset and just leaves to take care of them himself. Then the Bros. get out of the flowers and stomp on them, continuing their journey to save Concordia. Now this part creeped me out, I didn't expect any of this at all! Especially having that happy Super Mario Bros. 3 Overworld rearrangement in there to make it seem happy. Now, how did you feel when you were at this part?
