Are a lot of companies like this? (Turn over rates)
I’m a couple of years into a management position at a company I’ve been at for 6 years. This is my first “office” job (previously in hospitality) so I’m curious if this happens at other companies alot?
It seems like every time our department is adequately staffed and fully trained, we lose someone and have to “start over” again AKA: re-hire/re-train and re-configure workloads (added stress on the employees who stick around)
This was happening before I came into management too. I thought we’d improved what we need to in order to find better candidates and keep people around but maybe we need to reevaluate? Or is this pretty standard in the corporate world?
