Am I cooked?

It was sitting idly then suddenly this appeared.

For context I use my mac with a lot of care. It mostly sits on a desk and when on the go I use a sleeve. It has never had a ding or hit anything.

No Applecare and warranty expired last month. I guess I have to learn to live with it?

At this point Id be lucky if this does not get worse with time.
