...Replicators in A Little Holiday?

I wish I had gotten a screenshot of that. There were Borg Baby Replicators in one of those rewards? And Latinum Replicators?

Except now I can't find any indication they're doing anything anywhere in the UI, or find any way to activate them. What is going on?

The event hint reads "Watch out for a new feature in this event that will help you generate Merit Points even faster than before!" Wish I had read that before starting... I might have actually thought to catch a screenshot.
