Lead Gen via LinkedIn
Guys, which LinkedIn profiles do you use for lead-generation activities? Is it your own accounts, top managers' accounts, or another option?
I've worked with a team that used to run lead gen campaigns manually via the CTO's LinkedIn page. Then, their strategy changed, and it was decided to automate LinkedIn outreach through tools a la Dripify. However, an account owner (CTO) wanted to log into his profile and perform activities even during automated campaigns. In such a case, the team risked getting a ban from LinkedIn.
The first thought was assigning that task to SDRs/BDRs. The team was concerned that a concrete sales specialist could leave the job at some point, causing the company to lose all LinkedIn messaging and prospects accumulated.
Another option was to create a dedicated profile for an employee who did not have a LinkedIn page but was willing to provide one for lead generation. The same shortcoming exists: a specialist could leave the company. Plus, this profile needed to be developed from scratch.
How do you handle such hassles within your companies? What approach ensured you the best outcomes?
