Lian Li Warranty Nightmare: Months of Waiting and Still No Working LCD for My Gallahad II AIO
Update:
As of October 31st, I'm still dealing with the runaround from Lian Li. My initial warranty claim for my Gallahad II LCD AIO dates back to August 23rd, and here we are more than two months later without a functional replacement. The replacement LCD they sent me back in September arrived damaged, with chips in the metal housing and strange liquid marks under the screen that can’t be wiped off.
Since then, I've been in constant contact with Lian Li, but all I get is the same response—that they’ll reach out to the factory. Most recently, on October 4th, I emailed them again and got a reply on October 7th. This time, they cited a shortage in raw materials as the reason for the delay. But after nearly three months of back-and-forth, this is starting to feel unacceptable, especially considering this is a premium product that I paid a premium price for.
Note: I have linked my previous post in case anyone is interested enough to see the back story.
Background:
In case you missed my original post: I bought the Gallahad II LCD AIO less than a year ago. It initially had a loud pump, which I tried to ignore, but later the LCD screen developed burn-in and flickering issues, which clearly seemed hardware-related. I filed a warranty claim with photos and videos in August, and while Lian Li responded quickly at first, the replacement unit arrived without the LCD screen that was causing all the trouble. After reaching out again, I finally received the correct part in September—but it was defective.
I’m honestly at a loss now. Has anyone else gone through something similar with Lian Li’s warranty claims? Did you ever get it resolved, or is this just the reality of dealing with them? Any advice is welcome at this point. Thanks for letting me vent!
