1/20 - Skit the Missing Beagle - Updates
Reminders: Do not chase or call after him! Skit's skittish behavior is what makes catching him so hard.
Locations: Skit was spotted 1/19 in the Crystal Falls Rd. area and 1/20 crossing Liberty Rd. from the Shetlands back to the Crystal Falls Rd. area. We had no sightings in nearly a week, so this is great! He has not moved far since we saw him on 1/11.
How You Can Help: Many of you have been so helpful in keeping eyes open or putting up posters. Thank you! Here are a few more things that can be done with little to no effort on your part.
1) Crack your garage doors or crack the gates to your yards. He will look for warmth and even companionship with other dogs.
2) Set out food. Anything such as regular dog/cat food or even scraps.
3) Check your security cameras! Turn up their sensitivities.
The new sightings have made up hopeful, especially since he appears to have some sort of access to food and shelter, but we want him home where he can be safe and warm.
We are hoping to get out with the rescue group tomorrow with some dogs he is familiar with and set up some cameras. As such, use some extra time you have today to grab a sighting!
