where should i pruchase a gecko?

Hello! ive been wanting to get started in reptile owning for a while now. and ive finally got the money to get everything a new gecko would need, aswell as researching as much as possible to give my new gecko the best life possible! my only concern is where i should purchase him/her?! i dont want to buy one from somewhere i should not be supporting. i know not to go to major pet stores like petco or petsmart. any advice?
