*SPECIAL NEEDS GECKO*
This is Millie and she is a 'black pearl' morph leopard gecko, but bc this morph in particular started with inbreeding, she's genetically weaker and was born without a fully formed lower jaw.. her nose sticks out like pinocchio and creates this little gap big enough to stick a mealworm into.. her jaw is also just slightly crooked to where it's easier for her to lick one of her eyes but i don't think she can lick the other eye and that's why she has a cataract in that eye, i started using vitiman a eye drops every other week until her eyes looked better and now i do it once a month.. she can't get the shed off her toes so i do that for her too and she only has 1 nail .. she is technically my first reptile and i adopted her maybe 3/4 months ago and was told she is 2 years old.. her previous owner said she fed her 1 mealworm a day but i don't really beleive that bc when i got her, the habitat was FILTHY with bugs and little mite things and just stunk really bad..pretty sure she was in a community tank, she was kinda skinny.. so obv i got a whole new setup and i feed her every 2 days with live crickets, mealworms, dubia roaches (dusted with calcium powder that has d3).. etc i try to give as much variety as i can and i also hand feed her.. she has trouble with depth perception? she misses sometimes even when im holding it to her mouth, she could also have some kind of development issue that contributes that that idk 🤷♀️ doesn't matter to me tbh she is my little derp baby and i love her to bits! just look at her cute little derpy face!!! her personality is grumpy/sassy/shy, she will grumble everytime i pick her up but once she's in my hand she just wants the food & she likes to stay in her hide until she's sure no one is watching then she might venture out
