My now previous job is trying to take damages from my final check
I 19m work for a auto shop, I mostly clean porter and stuff like that basically whatever they ask. Today I was instructed to move a c4 Corvette from a work bag and place it to a further spot and place a c5 that was located directly behind it in its spot. I was being guided by one of the mechanics and I was barely off brake and moving slowly and he just kept hand motioning for me to keep backing up, all of the sudden he throws his hands and I slam on the rest of the brake and he throws the door open and tells me I shouldn't be driving these Fing cars. The c4 has buffable damage while the c5 probably needs touch up paint or whatever it may be a long those lines. I was sent home after trying to speak on being misguided and was told "you shouldn't even need a guide" he said he'd give me a call and 10 hours later I've received the text "Hey sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I will let you know what the cost will be to fix the vehicle. That will be deducted from your final check. I'm really sorry things didn't work out. If you have any questions let me know. Have a good night" I A. Cannot afford to lose any money out of my paycheck and B. Really couldn't afford to lose my job but reguardless I need help, this is located in northeast Ohio Lorain county if it matters. Please let me know because I have no idea what to even do or if that's legal? Use location: Northeast ohio
