Tuition Remission Benefits Question
I work for a Massachusetts private university that offers tuition remission (read: free!) for dependents of employees. The benefit is available to employees after five years of full-time employment. I have worked an hourly part-time position for 7.5 years. In that time I have worked the equivalent in hours of five years full-time. My position is eligible for all other benefits (health, dental, 401k, etc).
Do I have standing to receive tuition remission for my child who will be attending this school?
Thanks in advance.
