The French Presidency: Macron will visit Lebanon on January 17

French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Beirut on Friday, making him the second head of state to go to Lebanon since a new president was elected last week. According to the Lebanese presidency, Aoun met the French ambassador to Lebanon on Tuesday to discuss preparations for Macron’s trip.
