For those playing Swiftplay, how long are games typically lasting and how impactful do the "catch-up" mechanics feel?

Basically the title.

For those of you who have sunk your teeth into Swiftplay, I'm curious how you feel the game mode different from just normal Summoner's Rift. Are games a lot shorter than normal games? Only a little shorter? How do the catch-up mechanics feel? Does it feel easier to get back into the game when you have a bad laning phase?

My guess is that most games are ending early by surrender, just like Quickplay...
