Data Falsification Scandal

I believe this has already been posted here if i’m not mistaken, but as of yesterday, Ranga Dias no longer is employed by U of R. If you’re unfamiliar, he claimed that he found a room temperature super conductor, but it turns out his data was falsified and 5 papers were retracted. I dove into the wormhole last night and it seems like this guy had been falsifying data for several years: it’s insane how it went on for so long. Definitely an interesting read.
