Back Up 5 - Trey Lyles

Trey has been good at the back up 5 all season.

I’ve loved Len as much as anyone as a minimum contract the last couple of years, but Trey is the best option at 5 this season.

Playing him with Keegan, Fox, Carter & 1 of Monk/DeRozan, I predict will (should) be the back up 5 lineup going forward.

Monk in transition would be ideal, but if he’s starting, you want him staggering with Sabonis.

A big reason why I want Monk to the bench is I want him staggering with DeMar, Keon & Sabonis (good net) as well as Fox, Murray & Lyles (good net, although small sample). While also the starters without 2/3 of Fox, Monk, DeMar is a way better rating than 3/3.

Keegan full-time 4 and Carter defensive versatility/rebounding is the big change from last season imo, that will unlock Trey at the 5 going forward.
