Favorite k-drama couples?
Here are some of my favorites (in no particular order) .. warning for some spoilers!
Kim Moo Young (Seo In Guk) x Yoo Jin Kang (Jung So Min) ~ The Smile Has Left Your Eyes
Gosh the chemistry is so sizzling and SO beautiful. I loved how intense, deep and passionate their love for each other was, yet so pure…despite Moo Young being such a messed up person. It was beautiful how he wanted to become a good person because of her, they were each other’s world. Maybe not a healthy relationship but its one of the most genuine, raw and beautiful love stories ever told in my eyes. . The way they are connected, wow it gives me chills! How far they would go for each other?! You totally buy into them being soulmates…and one of the very few kdramas where the childhood connection is anything but Unnecessary, it was totally needed and made their relationship even more beautiful. But i do understand why some can’t like their relationship because of well… Moo Young. But it totally worked for me! Bad boy/good girl love story Done right… Also one of the most beautiful and sweet bed scenes in all of dramaland when they going to make love! They made it look so pure that it made me teary eyed no
I know its a remake of the japanese drama from 2002, i really need to Watch it too.. i know its way darker than the korean version.
Do Hyun Soo (Lee Joon Gi) x Cha Ji Won (Moon Chae Won) ~ Flower of Evil
An other amazing couple with firey 🔥 chemistry! Also with a morally grey, deeply flawed ML. . This is a power couple who loves each other deeply and still are passionately in love even after 14 years! So despite being a Married couple from start of this drama, their relationship is anything but dry and boring. I gotta say LJG and MCW has one of the strongest chemistry in dramaland , but maybe no wonder since they were previously in another drama together, so they must have felt very comfortable around each other in FoE. He seems like the perfect husband and father but hides a dark secret, which not even his police wife doesn’t know about. Despite Hyun Soo’s dark character and secrets I just Adore their relationship as they are both so fiercely loyal to each other no matter what! Yes its not always perfect .. they have their ups and downs but if you want the true deep love of kind, this drama is it!
Lee Gang Doo (Lee Junho) x Ha Moon Soo (Won Jin Ah) ~ Just Between Lovers
Beautiful , pure love story about healing and comfort. I gotta say Gang Doo is one of my favorite MLs, he is so genuine and raw! Looks rough on the adges and can be very tough but is a totally sweetheart with a heart of a gold. And its awesome that he is so … ordinary, nothing like the typical kdrama ML! And i just adore the gentle, sweet romance that is so…healing and comforting. How they share a traumatic past as kids together and it Will haunt them forever , but with the help of each other they can learn to live with it. Their romance felt so realistic and down to earth…maybe not the intense kind of chemistry as in the other two dramas (its more mellow and subtle) but gosh so precious..and so healthy! I i just don’t understand why JBL is so underrated?? It was a amazing drama and i fell in love with Junho, such a outstanding actor… it was the first drama of him i watched, never heard of him before. Im glad hes famous now (totally well deserved ) but he should have been famous even before The Red Sleeve, because he proved with JBL that he can act so darn WELL!
