Unemployed and having no luck. Should I do call center?
I am unemployed and having a hard time finding a job. I desperately need income. I had an interview for a WFH call center position, but I was explicitly told there is 0 tolerance for getting up from my desk, and out of the call queue, outside of assigned breaks; even to use the restroom! I can't decide if I am desperate enough to tolerate that kind of harsh policy.
My background is in the non-technical side of software/tech in client-facing roles such as; implementations, client onboarding, etc. I am trying to pivot out of these due to burnout and instability in the software/tech space, but am so lost on where to transition to. Any advice?
