Minimising Accountancy Fees

Hi guys,

So, I'm setting up an online tutoring/language business and I anticipate my earnings will be quite low at the start.

Is it possible for me to do my own books and returns, or must I hire an accountant? If so, what am I looking at for fees? My overheads will (thankfully) be very minimal and I would hate for that to be undermined by huge professional fees, if I can technically do it myself.
