Snake Bite

In my dream this morning, I encountered a snake on a dirt path. It was wet and dark outside, similarly to thunderstorm weather in the middle of the day. When I encountered this snake, I felt compelled to pick it up and instinctively, it bit me. I should have dropped it, but I didn’t, resulting in multiple bites. After the fourth or fifth bite, I woke up. Any thoughts?
