FAE Beauty Haul.
So I recently got the newly released Fae Beauty Lush Blush, so picked up a lip whip! Here's the honest review.
Lush Blush:
○ Retails for 599₹ for one, you can get with 10% or 15% discount from Fae's website.
○ The blush is lightweight, serum like, and easily bendable. Even if you take a lot, it won't get patchy.
○ Very pigmented. The shade I have here is Spicy. Even though it might look like a reddish shade in the picture, is a warm raspberry pink. It's one of their most pigmented and deepest shade.
○ Do not trust the pictures on the websites for this. Go to their page, see the swatches on real people, and then choose a shade for yourself.
○ Since it's so pigmented, it's very easy to go overboard, which isn't my favorite.
○ It lasts a good 8 to 10 hours, which is pretty good. It also leaves a subtle stain.
Overall, 3/5. (1 point deducted for workability, another for inaccurate swatches on the website, but as a blush, worth the money.)
Lip Whip:
○ I had already gotten one shade gifted to me by a cousin, it was slip. Some days it suited me, some days it washed me out. However, I personally loved the formula and longevity, so ordered one more, Nut.
○ Again, the shades don't match the swatches. Nut was supposed to be a warm chocolate brown, but it's not. I have attached the swatch and it on my lips. It's almost like a brick brown.
○ The formula is pigmented, soft, whipped and mousse like. Feathery light, and doesn't dry out the lips.
○ If it had just a tinge of red, it would've been my favorite colour on me, but it still looks pretty good.
○ Their recent formula is transfer proof, but not smudgeproof. For me, the colour lasts through a meal, but starts feathering from the center.
○ Again, watch the videos on their profile and on youtube, then buy a shade for yourself, as even these aren't true to the swatches.
Overall, 4/5.
