iPhone 12 battery replacement

My iPhone battery health is 77% and it’s asking for a service . I want to replace the battery with a new one (ofc from an apple authorised service centre). I want some help on this . If anybody has replaced their battery replaced what was your experience after replacing the battery ? Has battery output maximised after the replacement ? And any other pros and cons you faced .
